The Homeware Wish List

Homeware-Wish-List

The closer the prospect of owning my own home comes, the more I feel the desire to look for homewares and things I could get to decorate this potential house. As at the moment I don’t have anywhere for these as I am currently minus the vital ingredient (a house), I thought I would instead put together a little wish list of some of the things I would love when the time does eventually come. Whether or not I can afford these things is another matter…

One of the key things I want in our home is prints and these two are definitely at the top of my list. Luke is a real one for the moody I-haven’t-eaten-yet snappiness, so I think this “I’m sorry for what I said when I was hungry” print is perfect for our kitchen.

Another thing I found that I love while searching the internet for ideas is these cute Oliver Bonas letter hooks, it might be a bit cringe but I love the idea of having an ‘L’ and ‘R’ set of hooks to pop our coats on.

I’m a huge fan of candles but my budget is pretty much at the limit of the Yankee Candle prices, for our first home I would love to splurge just once and treat myself to a Jo Malone candle. I have no idea what scent because there’s so many to choose from but I think I’ve heard good things about Pomegranate Noir. Are there any you like? I’d love any recommendations in case one day I do take the plunge!

I spotted this clock on a homeware website I found and I’m honestly in love with it. I wouldn’t normally consider spending that much on a clock but for that beauty I totally would. And how cute are the little flower pots and vase from H&M?! I’ve never bought anything from the H&M home department but my first purchases would have to be these adorable little pieces.

Since searching on Pinterest a ridiculous amount recently (you can check out my interiors Pinterest post here), I’ve started to like some quite industrial style pieces and interior features so I was immediately drawn to this really industrial-looking side table and wire memo board. The memo board would be the perfect thing for above a desk to pin all those inspirational pictures and important notes!

And finally it couldn’t be a wish list without a cliche bit of copper. This table lamp is a bit out of my budget but I shall be lusting after it nonetheless!
