It seems that outfit posts are not easy when I’m not at my uni house. I just cannot get into the right frame of mind without my normal background haha. I’ve been at my boyf’s house since Friday so I haven’t managed to do any this week. But I’m going back to my house tomorrow so I should just do a whole load of different outfits I’ve worn recently and then gradually post them because I really want to get back to the outfit posts.

The photos here are some things I’ve bought recently. As I mentioned in a previous post, I went to the Bicester Outlet Village over the weekend and I bought a few bits in The Cosmetics Company. My mum got me the Ojon Hair cleanser because I had mentioned that my hair was getting greasy really quickly recently so hopefully this will help a little bit. The other 2 things I got there were kind of impulse purchases. After looking into past MAC collaborations for one of my uni assignments the other week, I really wanted some of the ‘Venomous Villains’ collection, because its Disney and all the packaging looked so cute. I’d seen some of it in the Gunwharf Quays shop but all the products they had were far too bold for me. But I was in luck in Bicester because 2 of the products I found were perfect for me, so I had to buy them! They’re also my first ever MAC products so I was a bit excited. Disney mixed with make-up? Whats not to love!

The photo of all my new make up is a bit spread out in terms of when I bought it. I can’t remember if I have shown my new make-up bag so I thought I’d include that as well. The foundation is a re-purchase because I decided the last shade I bought was too dark for me so I went back and bought the lightest shade they had. I’ll have to keep the darker one for the summer when I’ve got a bit of a tan. I then went on a bit of a Rimmel spree and bought 2 mascaras, a bronzer and 2 of the Kate lipsticks. The mascaras were a spur of the minute purchase after I had discovered that my beloved Lancome Oscillation mascara has been discontinued, boohoo :(. I’ve also been trying to get into lipsticks so I decided to get the Kate ones and I absolutely love them! I probably will end up purchasing more of them because they’re so nice. I thought I’d try a new bronzer so I went for the Rimmel Match Perfection, liking it so far :). I also needed some new powder and the 17 one is for shine control so I thought I’d try it out and see if it was any good. And finally, I always use the same blusher so I thought I’d try a new blusher as well! Basically I went a bit mad on buying and trying new make-up on a rainy day in Boots!

The necklaces were from the Topshop sale the other day. Buying jewellery in sales is the only way to buy, why pay £14 for a necklace instead of £3.50 in the sale, absolute bargains! Also, I find that when I look in jewellery sales I find things that I wouldn’t normally notice, so its a win win 🙂

There are quite a lot of new clothes that I’ve bought over easter (far too much over-indulgence, not on chocolate but on shopping instead!) that I plan to photograph and blog. Thats another mission for me to do when I get back to my house tomorrow. Its gonna be a long day of photographing and blogging, can’t wait! Better get some of my work done now in order to justify doing something else all day tomorrow 🙂
