the inevitable has happened...

When I finished uni last Friday I knew my blogging was going to get quite irregular and rubbish, and that has definitely happened. I haven't blogged since then. I haven't taken any outfit photos or bought anything to post about so I have been completely away from blogging for over a week. So I wanted to do a little post about some of the things I've been doing since I finished this year at uni.

Last weekend I went to Go Ape for my cousins hen do, which was amazing, tiring but so good! I'd definitely recommend to go if you're not afraid of heights. Then we went out for the night in Maidstone, and then the following day we had an afternoon tea thing at my aunty's house. On Monday I spent the entire day unpacking my things from uni and doing some household jobs for my mum. Tuesday was a long one spent in London getting the boyf a suit for my cousin's wedding this weekend, I feel like I spent about 10 years in Topman that day. We also went to Selfridges, which is where the pictures above were taken. It was to do with the Jubilee and Vogue. The outfits were made from original Vogue sewing patterns from the time of the Queen's coronation, and they had some examples of issues of Vogue from that time too which was quite interesting to see. As a fashion student I loved it even if it was only small. So if you're on Oxford Street and fancy seeing it, its free to go in and its on the lower ground floor (i think) of Selfridges :). Wednesday I spent the day at my nan's house. Thursday I drove down to Portsmouth for my friends fake birthday night out, her birthday isn't actually for a month but she had her night out with her uni friends before everyone went home for summer. On Saturday I went to the SeaCity museum in Southampton to see the exhibition on Titanic which was really good and I recommend going to see that. It is more interesting if you know the Southampton area as its all about how Southampton residents were involved and were sadly victims of the Titanic, I found it so interesting. And finally on Sunday I started packing up my uni room properly ready to move out at the end of June. So it is now all in boxes ready to leave. Quite sad really.
So that is my epically busy, waffly week, and the reason why I haven't been blogging. This week is shaping up to be a busy one too, so blogging may be quite rubbish this week too. I am currently in the process of dismantling my room and preparing to paint it, which I hadn't planned to do, but mum and the boyf decided it was a good idea so I just went along with it. This morning I have managed to dismantle my bed, take it out to the garage and put it back together, all without instructions, so Im pretty pleased with myself right now! And its a lovely day outside so that makes all this handwork a little bit better with the sun streaming in my window :)
